I shared a quote on @lookgoodliveluxe Instagram that read, “Some of us aren’t chasing money. We’re just doing what we love to make sure we never have to struggle again.”

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned on the road to becoming a #beautypreneur is that there’s no need to chase money, love, or success. How so? Because each of these things depend upon something else. Each of them is a byproduct of something else…YOU!

I think all too often we place too much emphases on what we think we should have or how our lives should look from the outside looking in, when from the inside out, we’re not flourishing! Money, love, and success are byproducts of the one thing we can control — and that’s how we treat ourselves. 

When we invest time in ourselves, be it through rest, through education, through health, we are making ourselves ready for whatever comes our way. They say, “Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity.” Translation? Luck is really YOU taking the initiative to prepare yourself for any and all opportunities. 

Stop chasing and start planting. Plant where you are in the here and now and nourish yourself. There would be no flowers if it weren’t for the patience of the gardener. Every garden is the byproduct of the care of the gardener. 

Focus on becoming the best version of yourself and those things will blossom before you know it! I'm just a girl who decided to go for it and focus on becoming the best version ME. As soon as I did that, money, love and success started chasing me!
